Andre Fergus is a keen supporter of community activities and has been involved in many charity fundraising events.


During the Christmas holiday season 2007/2008 he will be joining colleagues and friends to help make food parcels for the homeless population on the streets of the city of London. The Basket Brigade is built on a simple notion: one small act of generosity on the part of one caring person can transform the lives of hundreds. It takes only one light to dispel the darkness and even just one basket or a few, to bring hope. A Basket Brigade takes place when one individual prepares one basket to personally deliver to a needy family or individual.

Previous charitable activity

Andre was one of the personal trainers for BBC Radio Solent’s Daisy Appeal, Andre worked with sponsored dieters to help them lose weight and raise important funds for the Wessex Cancer Trust – home of the Skin Cancer Information Network and the UK's only specialist Skin Cancer helpline and advice centre. Andre became a regular feature of Radio Solent, as a fitness consultant for Julian Clegg’s breakfast show. Along with support externally for charities, Andre also supports his clients in their efforts to raise money for charity. One client is Summer Nedimovic Ran the 2007 London Marathon to raise money for The Shaw Trust - a national charity providing training and work opportunities for people who are disadvantaged in the workplace due to disability, ill health or other social circumstances.
